still hairy ! Been told I@m too fair for IPL somewhat surprised as not a real blondey.
Realise electrolysis or epil-pro may be only option but bit scared off by stories on here of being burned/scarred and made even more hairy by incompetent beauticians plucking hairs out.
Any advice?

Bummer! Not sure what to suggest but I understand the misery of hair where you don't want it light or dark. Keep investigating. In the meantime I'm bumping it for you.....

RanToTheHills · 11/04/2007 15:16

oh thanks!
I was surprised as there are some dark hairs but that's what I was advised. I'd heard )on MN?)that they can get round this by dyeing the hairs but not acutally found a clinic which does this, theygenerally all say will not work on blonde/white hair.
Poor still hairy face..

this clinic were the first to bring it to the UK and maintain they can treat grey, blonde and red hair. I hope to have a consultation soon as I understand it they use different lasers on you depending on the hair colour. I have dark, blonde and red so it makes since for me. I hope their blurb is true.

My concern is having to grow the hairs for the consultation as I currently pluck.

should that me sense? My spelling just gets worse!

RanToTheHills · 11/04/2007 15:35

thanks so much! There may be hope them for me &my hairs! Have you any idea how much treatment costs, dropsilla?

I spoke to them on the phone but they said that until they see me and assess me they could not tell me. I did phone a different clinic in Harley street and they were £85 for a chin per session and that was the most expensive I came accross so I expect it to be in that region.

RanToTheHills · 13/04/2007 08:53

right thanks. So are you going to go ahead with it at the Harley Street clinic then? That may vbe my nearest one.

Many ways to get treatments done but in general best to use a real doctor or nurse for most things medical wise

For long time wanted to remove a mustache above the upper lip. First tweezers plucked, but the tendrils only became tougher. A friend advised me to remove them with laser IPLASER from the company Innovatione. After 4 treatments the hair was removed completely. It is now a month since the last treatment passed. The effect still holds.
