I already:
Do relaxation/ yoga
Drink loads of water
I don't drink alcohol
Limited caffeine
Tried a chiropractor
Sleep enough

I've been offered industrial medication but for lots of reasons I won't go into, I won't take. In fact I won't take most medication as I'm phobic. U

You can get Migrastick that you put on your temples. My daughter gets migraines & uses the Kool fore head patches. Lavender oil helps heasaches. You can use it in a burner or a few drops in a bath.

The forehead patches and stick mentioned by pp both work a treat. Also you can sit with your hands and feet in warm water and put frozen peas on the base of your neck to 'draw it out' if you like.

You could also try reflexology, massage or acupuncture.

Tiger balm

cherrylove · 30/06/2017 15:36

I second Tiger Balm. Get the white one though as it's better than the red one for headaches. 4head stick is also good.

Have you had proper investigations as to why you keep getting headaches?

27Harper · 30/06/2017 22:15

Have you tried those headache strip thingies? I've also heard that peppermint and lavender essential oil can be good for pain. Also almonds (unless of course you're allergic) help with pain due to them containing salicin which is a key component in many painkillers. Also one thing that has worked for me is using 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper mixed with warm water and applied to the inside of the nostrils will help with that headache. It might burn a bit at first but it really works so you could maybe give that a whirl as well.

Please try this. A hot cloth on your face and forehead. As hot as you can stand it.

I find getting up and being active in the fresh air helps. I don't feel like it but it seems to help. I'm not sure how some of the the things suggested by pp are meant to help. A cool flannel or whatever helps with the symptoms but I'm not sure it cures the headache IYSWIM
