Homeopathy advice?

I wonder if anyone can help.... I am 6 wk pg and I have just discovered that my dd has worms Shock. I have treated the rest of the family with Ovex, but I can't take it because I'm pg. I have been washing & cleaning all weekend like a crazed woman but also found online a homeopathic remedy of cina which is anti-parasitic. Am keen to try it, but not 100% sure that it is safe for use in pregnancy.

Anyone know?

Ps. I know in theory I should visit a homeopath but at £85 for an initial consultation I just can't......

It's not been double blind tested on humans, let alone in pregnancy. Go to you GP, they can advise

Is it actual homeopathy or a herbal medicine? If homeopathy I can assure you it has been tested on women for 10000000s of years as it is just sugar and walker and nothing else. Your gp will be able to give you something proper, i'd see them.

Homeopathic Cina will be absolutely fine to take in pregnancy whether you believe homeopathy works or not. Other things to try are eating lots of grated carrot and pumpkin seeds. (Been shown to have an anti parasitic affect.) Try and limit sugar if you can bear to (know it's hard when you are pregnant) as they feed on glucose.

Flowers OP. Worms are such a pain.

I don't think there is anything GP can prescribe for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy unfortunately mycavities. They just suggest the hygiene method.

Thanks everyone. I'll try to get to the GP..... and maybe will stick to hygiene and pumpkin seeds in the meantime. Such rubbish timing Hmm
