My period is always two days late

I have an app which tracks my period, tells me when it's due, etc. Every month, my period is late by exactly two days. So my cycle is lasting 30 days, rather than the 'normal' 28 days. I'm not on any drugs/pills.

Is this 'normal'? Or should I see the doctor?

On a side note, I've noticed that my period has become lighter over the past year. Is this normal with age? I'm 30, no kids.

I remember a friend at school.compliaing that her period kept getting earlier in the month, because it used to come at the end of the month, then it kept coming two or three days earlier each month and catching her out. When we pointed out that if she had a 28 day cycle this would happen, as months are 30 or 3 days, she was really confused and saying "but it started on the 16th last month and this month it's come on the 14th" Confused

She did fail her maths O level though.

Pre dc I had really long cycles, sometimes 50 -60 days. After children it went to about 30 -35 days. I don't think many women have 28 day cycles.

You must have set up the app telling it you have a 28 day cycle when in fact you have a 30 day cycle. You're not late it sounds as if you're very regular.

Same here. I'm 29 and my periods have become noticeably lighter over the last couple of years. Interested to see if anyone has answers as to whether it's normal or not?
