Broken teeth - any dental people out there?

dd, 22 months, has already broken 3 teeth. the last time we went to the dentist, one was badly broken and a second was chipped but now it has broken as badly as the first.

these are the 2 teeth next to each front incisors.

the dentist said at the time that the badly broken one (now 2 of them) will not be lost naturally and told me what to look for when the root dies so they can extract it. now 2

we noticed on Friday that now one of her front incisors is chipped.

what could be the cause? except maybe not enough calcium? I think she is getting enough calcium as she still bf quite a bit but does not like the taste of plain cow's milk. will only drink it with porridge and in yoghurt. she doesn't like cheese either.

should i get her bone check? see a dietician or peadiatrician?

bump

(trying to stop b/f, and concerned about lack of calcium, so will lurk on here waiting for calcium laden yummies to be mentioned, dd also doesn't like cheese)

I've heard that some children have weak teeth because of an incident during pregnancy (eg illness in the mother/medication given to the mother) at the time the teeth were developing, it's nothing to do with current diet. In my experience, because few dentists have experience of long-term breastfeeding they're quick to attribute dental problems to it. I know that doesn't really help you, but I felt like saying it anyway! Good luck xx
