Wasn't sure where to post this but...
As some of you may now I am expecting to miscarry any time
Is it ok to use my mooncup or should I stick to pads? I ask cos I hate pads and have too many problems with them and I trust my mooncup more!!
TIA

Hi W. So sad to read what you're going through. I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on the mooncup q. Like Califrau, I wonder about capacity. Also, I wonder if you might find the contents upsetting...

Enormous hugs. Look after yourself over the next couple of days.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 11/03/2007 07:30

Thanks Decaff I thought about contents but also figured that if I was wearing a pad that I would see things

hmm - true - just the mooncup tends to be a bit more graphic IYKWIM. I don't see any other issues - if sterilised properly, there should be no worries re infection (better than pads, i'd have thought). Wonder if the suction could cause any problems....
sorry - really just speculating. Hope someone with more of a clue answers soon!

You may pass large clots and there may be a lot it is important to know how much and how fast just incase you need medical intervention. Also you don't want to risk everything backing up and blocking the cervix as you could go into cervical shock.
