Stiff ankles in morning since having DS

I had it from around seven months pregnant and DS is now nearly seven months old himself. First thing in the morning I have really stiff ankles and feet - I almost have to shuffle on the sides of my feet when I first get up. Going down stairs hurts to begin with as well. It's better after I've walked on them for a bit but it's every day. It's something I thought would get better and it hasn't really - it maybe wore off a bit after he was born but then it came back. Is this still relaxin hangover? It's really uncomfortable. I'm going to see the doctor this week but just wondered if anyone else had suffered with this?

Well, this long list is worse than googling OP Grin which I never do for illnesses.

Thyroid may not be out of the question either - my mum and her four siblings as well as her mum had thyroid issues.

It may also explain why I'm so tired lately. DS sleeps well and I'm not late to bed myself but I've been feeling like I needed a sleep mid afternoon for a couple of weeks.

Will see about getting some bloods done I think! I bought some vitamin d tables as well today.

Mine came on really suddenly after my first baby, she was about three months and I just ballooned in about a week!

I get this, also in my knees as well. I went to the doctors and I was referred to physio and given basic exercises to do. I've also been taking vitamin D tablets to see if it helps.

I have this too. My baby is almost 6 months. It's mainly my left foot and ankle.

I have been to a podiatrist who said my arches are ok. Had numerous blood tests for vitamin deficiencies and thyroid all normal.

Have recently purchased proper fitted trainers giving arch and ankle support. I just hope it goes soon.
