...and her wet nappy overnight was twice the size as normal and had leaked through her pj's and grobag. Wierd and prob unrelated, but what side effects did your lo's have after their jabs?

Thanks for the replies and the info from AmyJade. Dd was a bit clingy for a couple of days after but seems fine now, although as it has now been a week since the jabs, i am looking out for the rash that is sometimes associated with having the MMR. The excess weeing seems to have been unrelated - if a little wierd

AnyJade - I have often read your posts and I remember when you first posted about your dd - I do hope that hearing experiences like yours, helps parents who are considering these immunisations make an informed choice

Ok, so it's now 8 days since dd's mmr - and she appears to have an upset stomach (tmi probably - but serious amounts of poo all day yesterday and an adult sized one (honestly) done when she woke this morning)

She seems well in herself and doesn't seem bothered by it at all, and clearly she's not in any pain or discomfort, I just don't remember this being one of the possible side effects

Bit late to add this, but befor ehaving his pneumo jab, my ds had a real problem with middle ear infections. He had 5 in 6 months, each time getting a v. high fever, listless etc etc... since having the pneumo he hasn't had a single bug that's been more scary than a cough or a sniffle (although the cough has lasted for weeks). I was told by HV that it was thought to help against ear stuff, but wasn't convinced (deaf myself due to undiag. mid.ear.infection as toddler)... but there it is.

fwiw.
