So I've had this on my foot for almost two years, came on just after a very close family member died and gp says it's stress related. She gave me a few creams to try and nothing is helping. Have an appointment for 7th March but anyone have any ideas on what will get rid of this?

I have tried steroid cream, doublebase, e45, epaderm and a few more I can't remember. Also tried olive oil suggested by my mum Confused

Aveeno cream but looks like you need something stronger from the GP.

Try Wrights Coal Tar Soap and I agree with wet wraps...

I have had Eczema since I was a child and like you it is also stress triggered

Coal tar soap takes the itching, its anti inflammatory and also antiseptic. It's the only soap I've used for about 15+ years and my eczema is pretty much non existent even through stressful times.

Have said this on a few other threads - but Aveeno (the oatmeal version) has worked no end for my DS who was, at one point, really poorly with his eczema.

Also - my sister cut out all dairy for an unrelated reason - and her eczema totally cleared up.

Hope you feel better soonOP
