No appt with GP, after hours doesn't open until 6pm, not serious enough for A&E

I have a dilemma. Serious ear infection, possibly throat infection too, and will likely develop into a sinus infection (has happened before). My GP surgery has no appointments today or tomorrow, walk in hours aren't until Wednesday. It isn't serious enough for a trip to A&E. The out hours clinic doesn't open until 6pm. How do I get an antibiotic without waiting until Wednesday?

Went to OOH, got an antibiotic. Hoping another day off work will help!

What are methylated crystals? They sound magical

Aren't they like Vicks but in crystal form and you added water and steam? How would they help an ear infection?

Maybe relieve pressure ? Dilate the ear channels ? Just soothing like a hot water bottle ?

Smoking thank you very much for that link - I'm going to bookmark for the future .V handy to have as a standby for routine stuff and doesn't look at all expensive .

Illness update! Antibiotics from OOH have helped. Was off Mon-Wed. Back to work on Thurs (work in a school) and as of last night, I now have laryngitis... Yay! No voice whatsoever Sad
