How long antibiotics course and recovery for pneumonia in otherwise fit and healthy adult?

As a general guide, how long would an otherwise fit and healthy adult be on antibiotics for if he/she had pneumonia?

And how long can you expect recovery to take?

I appreciate everyone's different, but as a general guide?

Antibiotics kicked in within 48 hours for me, I felt so much better by third day but Christ did I develop the worst wheeze at night.
Pneumonia leaves you with nasty asthma type problems for a while.
I had to have an inhaler.

I'm all good now, probably took a month or so to completely go away.
