I lost my mirena during an extreme flooding episode. I've been put on a high dose of tranexamic acid, but am still having (smaller) episodes of flooding. Is this normal? I've taken 3G of TA since yesterday.
Im not clear on how long this takes to work?
Also I don't have a scan for another 3 weeks so I am feeling anxious about what has caused this sudden issue which began about 8 weeks ago?
Also now I don't know what to do about the IUD, GP wants to put it back in at some point. It really had helped give me smaller periods (they didn't stop) but losing it for no apparent reason has really put me off having another
I have been very anxious about this

Not sure of exact measurements but they aren't like melons or anything

Also she didn't say tiny.

This was just sonographer.

One is at the top and the position may have forced out IUD if that wasn't positioned high enough the other is at the back and her words were 'pressing on the bowel'
