Hello I'll try and keep this as short as possible!
I've been suffering for a water infection since Tuesday, was having slight backache too.

Yesterday I went to work and after been there for 5 hours (standing) my back really started to ache by the time I sat down last night it was throbbing. Went to bed for up this morning no pain! Hurrah!

Had a relaxed day except cooking dinner and general tidying and bathing kids etc. After I'd done this my back was agony again. Pain in my back has subsided but there's a sharp throbbing in my side that has woken me up.

So my question is-
Could this be a kidney infection that has come from having a water infection?

Any help much appreciated!
Thank you

I forgot to add I saw a nurse at the walk in centre this morning who prescribed antibiotics for me. She said the pain is too low to be my kidney without really looking properly Confused

I would say it's kidney pain , having had kidney stones and the pain was in my back and side .

It could be a kidney infection or renal colic caused by a stone. The pain in your side can vary (ie it can be lower down in your side) with a stone as the stone attempts to move down towards the bladder. When I had one, it was intensely painful.
