Hi, name changed for this one. For as long as I can remember I've always had loose stools on and off. I'm regular as clock work now with loose stools every morning when I wake. On the rare occasion i go during the day it's usually ok. Is this is a thing, does anyone else have this everyday? I'm overweight and try to eat healthily. Recently gave up caffeine hoping that might help. Any pearls of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks for reading

do you drink enough water?
do you have a standard diet?
is it low fat or high fat?
extra fruit?

NoahVale · 11/12/2016 08:50

makingyourmindup123 · 11/12/2016 09:15

Hi Noah, no don't drink enough water or eat enough fruit. I'd say my diet is fairly low fat

so you need something to add bulk to your diet op. and agree with losing the caffeine.

makingyourmindup123 · 11/12/2016 10:31

I've already lost the caffeine. How do I add bulk to my diet?

Fibrous breakfast cereal, whole meal bread, brown pasta, brown rice, lots of veg, a couple of servings of fruit, no fake sugars, lots of water. Oats are great.

Wise words from my friend Buster. I would add, if you are worried, go for a chat with your doctor. A lot of people are too self-conscious to approach a doctor about anything to do with private parts. But it is a huge part of a GP's job and they will have patients coming in everyday with bowel issues. Wishing you well Smile

Thank you Molly, I consider myself a bit of an expert in regards to poo questions as I have a poo disorder myself! Lol GrinBlushConfused

Thanks all, I guess as I've always had it I hadn't ever thought about doing to my GP. I have some other medical problems and I guess it's bought my health into Q
