Dr halved dose of lanzoprasole.
Vomited a lot.
Took two of the half dose twice.
Consequently without for two days
This morning I vomited a lot of clear liquid with blood to be the last to come out.
Still vomiting but clear mostly.
I have taken Rennie since.
Wibu to kill the stupid Dr.
I warned him.

I'm waiting for a call back from Dr stupid bastard

And I know he is going to tell me to make an appointment with the gp which is useless as I am agoraphobic!
Stupid stupid stupid man.

Sorry for the rant but pain and nausea as a result of arrogant stupidity sends me haywire. Angry

Don't let your doctor fob you off - vomiting any amount of blood is cause for concern. Whilst it may well not be anything sinister, always, always get it checked out.

What are you prescribed the lanzoprasole for?

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 13:54

Long history of gastritis.

He's my stoopid psychiatrist. FFS. IDIOT.

Do they know that you suffer from agoraphobia? What treatment are you having for it?

Is there anything you can take that will help you get to the surgery?

If this is left untreated you may end up in hospital, which is the last place you want to be.

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 14:01

Yes they know. They are trying to get my blood right to try me on a new med. They are over riding years of proven successful medical surgical and previous psychiatric treatment as they know best.

I really do sympathise, agoraphobia is awful and your psychiatrist really should show a bit more compassion Flowers

Is there any way they could issue a script over the phone, and someone could pick it up for you? Although I appreciate they may want to examine you, if you're bringing up blood. A&E may be a better bet - vomiting blood is a very valid reason to attend - but again, having to get there and the subsequent waiting around probably won't be helpful to you if you're very anxious.

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 14:11

That's the problem. Getting there. Then noise and crowds.

I understand, I really do. I've had some terrible full blown psychotic episodes before, and all the crisis team said was that I had to present at A&E - yeah, FANTASTIC for someone who's wearing nothing but a bath towel, hasn't washed for 2 weeks and doesn't even know what day it is because spiders are crawling out of her ears and she wants to die Hmm So yes, I definitely understand how it's an issue for you.

Do you have anyone with you at the moment? I'm assuming you don't. Is there anyone you could call, just to come over and sit with you for a bit? Someone who doesn't need to be entertained, who's happy to just sit with you?

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 14:21

Nope. I've burned all those bridges I'm afraid! I'm also not from here so know nobody.
Spoke with a neighbour last night for ten minutes or so. She has a 10 months old baby so that has been the highlight of the week. Cutest baby who took to me straight away.

Btw. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Smile

OP posts:
BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/12/2016 14:35

It's okay, honestly - I can guess at the extent of your distress right now, I didn't want you to feel like you were on your own Flowers

The baby sounds lovely Smile Does your neighbour know how you're feeling, or do you worry about showing the extent of your (perfectly understandable) anxiety?

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 14:37

No. The neighbour possibly thinks I'm perfectly sane lol.

We're all living in emergency council flats so I guess we're a little less fazed by general lunacy. Grin

OP posts:
BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/12/2016 14:43

Grin I know that feeling! General lunacy is a thing round my neck of the woods too!

You sound a little better, going by your posts. Less strung up and frantic. Do you feel any calmer?

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 14:48

Yes. Nausea has subsided. I think stress exacerbated it. And you have kindly quelled it. Thank you.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/12/2016 16:07

I'm glad I could help in some way Smile You can always PM me if you need a hand to hold, okay?

myoriginal3 · 05/12/2016 16:49

Thank you.
I am struggling massively at the moment so may just have to bore you to tears at some point. And that's a promise lol.
Anyway they have delivered my half dose so I have indulged in my usual dose until gobshite comes out in next couple of days and puts it back where it was.
No vomiting since.

OP posts:
BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/12/2016 19:22

You best stick to that promise! Wink

I'm glad there's been no more vomiting, and I hope you manage to get a good night's sleep - no doubt you're sore from being sick so much.
