Will tampax come out on its own?

I don't remember if i took tampax out and now I'm worried, no evidence its still there, have felt around but if it is will my body get rid of it naturally?

Squat down, bear down, and have a really good feel. If it's still there, it needs to come out.

mine is right, you can't leave it if you have left one in. You need to relax then either stand and squat down then bear down or sit on the loo with a foot on the seat and bear down. Either way will help it drop down if it's still in there.

Embarrassingly this happened to me once and I ended up calling the minor injuries unit. They told me to go down so they could check. As if I wasn't mortified enough, I had taken it out Blush. They told me it's not uncommon and need to be sure so as not to risk toxic shock syndrome. Hope you get sorted.

if there is any chance u must go tonight and get it removed.
i pulled the string on mine and just the string came out! i had the tampax removed by a totally gorgeous lovely male doctor, who was incredibly kind about it and said it was so important. i was seen as an emergency as it had been in 10 hours (over night and then panic and getting there) i was mortified obviously, but i'm glad i didn't wait.
they'd rather check and it not be there than u get seriously ill from it.
squat and bare down, u may push it down enough to feel it.

I agree squat and bear down and have a feel for it. If you are worried get to the gp in the morning or to a practice nurse and they can use a speculum and have a quick look for it. Don't be embarrassed op it happens.

If in any doubt ask to see a nurse at your GP surgery tomorrow morning.

I had to do this and even the HCP had trouble removing the tampon as it was laid horizontally at the back.

Embarrassing yes, but much better than risking leaving it there!

Oops. Just realised this thread is a week old. I sincerely hope the OP has removed the tampon by now!
