Cranial Osteopathy to help ease reflux symptoms? or would that be a waste of time?

We used it for DD and her eczema. Made no difference. I suppose it depends on what's causing the reflux symptoms. Is it reflux or just symptoms? I would suggest getting them to explain what they'd do and why ie why and how it would work and if you're happy with the explanation then go for it.

A reputable practicioner would advise you. Phone a couple of different ones and ask what they think - they should be honest with you. I took my silent refluxer when it was still undiagnosed for latching issues and he could tell there was something not right with her tummy but I didn't go back once latch problems were sorted so don't know if he could have helped IYSWIM.

Haven't heard of it being used for Reflux. Both of mine had it for colic and benefitted, but that it because assisted deliveries can put the head and jaw out slightly causing latching problems and residual discomfort/headaches.

I just googled Cranial Osteopathy, but couldn't find our lovely lady again. I did notice that there were homeopaths advertising their treatments as suitable for reflux.

There's a children's osteopathy centre in Clerkenwell. They work in some London hospitals. I'm sure they can advise about qualified practicioners.

Meant to add: The osteopath I use recommends it for digestive problems in babies.

There are other threads on this with anecdotal evidence to its effectiveness, if you do a thread search for osteopathy.
