Blood...

I had my daughter on 17 April last year. She is now 18 months old. I haemorrhaged twice and have not stopped bleeding since. Sometimes it's extremely heavy. Totally running down my legs even with a sanitary towel. I've been to my gp and admitted to hospital about 10-15 times and am now referred to gyno. She has tried me on 4 different pills. And none have stopped the blood.
My question is how long am I supposed to put up with this before something is actually done.
It's draining me totally.
Last month I was admitted to hospital and the doctor said I can't put up with this forever and to think about having my uterus removed. Which I actually want now as I'm totally sick of bleeding.
However my gyno refused this and opted for me to have a coil fittedHmm

I've woken up this morning with it dropping through my pyjamas.
Can anyone advise me on how I can get these professionals to take this seriously and the effect it's having on my life.
Any advice welcome

I used to be like that on my period for about 5 out of 7 days so I can totally understand you are at the end of your tether.

I do not understand this reluctance to do anything permanent for younger women. It sucks. I know there can be other symptoms after a hysterectomy but I doubt a man would ever have to put up with 2 years of heavy bleeding.

I used depo jabs for years - no period, no nothing. Have you given them a try?

I hope the coil fixes it, but don't be scared to stand your ground and demand a hysterectomy.

I'm unsure why they haven't tried the depo. They have just tried me on lots of different mini pills. I hope the coil works.

My problem is I'm totally ground down with it now. I find it hard to get angry as I just end up emotional and crying about the sorry state of my bloodiness

This reminds me of the woman with 'an issue of blood' in the bible. It may have taken a miracle to sort her out 2000 years ago , but you'd have thought they'd have come up with something else by now.

True footle. I am at a loss and don't know what else I can do really
