Managing heavy periods...

I've always had fairly heavy periods (I think!? I don't know what anyone else's are really like!) but i came off the pill a couple of months ago so am having my second period since having ds and it's just ridiculous! I'm not really looking for health advice as I realise things will settle down and I'm ttc so it's not long term but more practical tips on how to cope! (In case I'm missing something?). Twice today I soaked through a pad and super tampon and last night I had a Tena lady maxi night leftover from childbirth and it still leaked Blush. Am I on my own here?

I'm hoping to get an ablation done but I need to have a lower BMI. Have gone on the mini pill 3 weeks ago during my last period. I was bleeding heavily and it was stopped by the next morning instead of the usual 9 days it was just over 4 days.

It's not the option I wanted to go down. It every time I stood up that weekend was like I'd wet myself but with blood and I couldn't leave the house.

I agree a cup is the way to go plus medication. I use Mooncup and it is a game changer for me.

I had 3 yrs + of leaking through at work every month - having a change of clothes in my drawer, an excuse on standby and the constant fear someone might see. Not great for confidence and no way if taking time off.

Best of luck ttc xx
