sweat rash any tips to ease irritation?

hope someone can help; sat here typing with one finger ds who is 4 months on knee. he has recently had a smallish rash under his chin from the heat but today it hassuddenely spread from under his chin onto his chest and he is itching like mad and he is very upset. dh working late cant get out to get anything for it an suggestions usual creams in house including aqueous but i think this irritated it earlier, sorry long and rambling..

anyone out there? He also had his jabs on wednesday can this cause a rash?

try an antihistamine cream?

do you have any aloe vera gel? great for heat rash, teething rash, any rash?

some babies develop rash after using calpol...has he had any of this since his jab?

is he drooling a lot (teething?)

codswallop, no I have not got a antishistamine cream.

gloworm... just found a thread recommending aloe vera but have none at home at this time.....dh still not home been called to stay on late due to a fatality at work..policeman hate it when no back up at home ds asleep now after 3 very stressful hours.

hello scrumpy - my ds2 has had this recently and i used weleda nappy rash cream. looking back i think the key is keeping it dry, i also used muslin square folded across as a triangle to tie around his neck during the day (a bit like the cowboy neckchief style!)because they don't really have necks at this stage their chins rub on their chest. if he is scratching try long knee socks over his hands at night. hope he feels better soon.

Sudocreme would ease the irritation and stopinfection from scratching
or calamine lotion
