Would the liver thing make me feel quite rough too?

Physio/contenince clinic end of the month along with urodynamics (which have been cancelled twice due to infection)

The reason for my TVT was that my pelvic floor wouldn't work independantly - if I used the (tens?) Machine each day for an hour I was fine if I missed a day I wasn't. They thought it a combination of damage from when I had DD, my CFS which affects muscle tone & my hypermobility - l also have some loss of sensation so possibly nerve damage?

Hi Katymac,
I hope you don't mind me asking, did you get leaking as soon as you felt the TVT had shifted?
I'm very active, a triathlete and train quite intensively every day. Had a TVT last year. I recently had what I thought was a UTI after a big week of cycling, Nitrofurantoin for 3 days then it hadn't gone so Nitro for another 5 days. Then raging thrush so fluconazole for 5 days but the pain is still there 10 days later despite no cells in my urine. And it's pain in my urethra and bladder discomfort and urgency aswell as the thrush symptoms so I'm nervous something has gone on with the TVT. It's only 10 months old :-| I've got a consultant appointment with the surgeon who put it in on 21st Sept. In your experience is there anything in particular I should ask or tests I should insist on to get to the bottom of this ASAP? I'm not leaking but it all feels very uncomfortable.
Thank you and I'm sorry you're suffering too, it really is the pits X

I'm not sure it has moved - it just makes sense to be as I am tender over my pubic bone

The leaking is so random I feel sure it is positional iykwim not overflow or actual incontinence (at least it is completely different to how it was before the tvt)

I can't give you much advise to be honest as I am very in the dark - after my TVT apart from occasional UTO & thrush it has been fine for years - I hope you get sorted - shall we keep this thread up dated?

Yes please, I'll let you know how I get on and let's hope we both get some answers soon. X

OK - I had a clear sample on Thursday & another yesterday

I'm off to urodynamics tomorrow - want to take bets that I have a uti & they send me home?
