Labyrinthitis meds and breast feeding???

Hi
I've been diagnosed with labyrinthitis and the Drs said I can have meds for it but I am breast feeding and the medication hasn't been tested and it will go into the babies sytem via my milk so that put me off and I walked out without anything. I really feel unwell with the constant vertigo and at time I'm struggling.
I was just wondering if anyone had taken the meds while breast feeding?

Thanks

Sorry to hear you are suffering. It's an extra worry when feeding knowing how anything might affect your baby. Different meds for me but still the worry.

www.facebook.com/BfNDrugsinBreastmilkinformation/ are really helpful, and might be worth getting in touch with. It's run by a pharmacist with an interest & training in breastfeeding. She's been really helpful in talking through risks and other possible meds.
