Anybody out there any info on pins and needles/prickly feelings?!!! I have this in both feet and legs, but worse on the right side. i also have it in my finger tips. It does seem to be working its way up my body and now my groin feels a bit tingly to!! Pretty nervous about my appointment. My G P ran blood tests and they are all normal. Somebody told me that ms doesn't appear like this and that it is usually only one side of the body. Don't know if this is correct or a lot of nonsense. Anyone else out there had this creepy tingly feeling?!

Are you an anxious person? Stress can cause lots of physical symptoms.

I don't know a huge ammount about ms, but my dad has it and his symptoms when they first appeared were definitely only on one side.
Try not to worry too much there is probably a hundred things that could be causing it.
Easy for me to say I know!

Good luck

Hi peanuts

I have this too and have just seen the neurologist as I also have had optic neuritis which is associated with MS. He said that my tingling symptoms don't fit the profile of MS related symptoms. Apparently with MS the tingling or numbness would tend to come on quite quickly and gradually get worse or spread over a period of a few days and then usually the symptoms will recede - sometimes going completely and sometimes reaching a plateau where there is no further improvement. This is the pattern that my Optic neuritis followed but my numbness and tingling comes and goes so he said it is most likely stress related.

Try not to worry too much. I wrote down all my symptoms in detail and also some questions because I knew that when I got in there I would forget what I wanted to say as I was so nervous. Good luck

Hi there. Appointment went ok. I think he thinks i have some kind of spinal cord problem in my neck. He didnt mention ms at all. I had lots of different kind of neurology tests - like walking heel to toe withmy eyes shut, and squezzing the docs fingers, reflex etc. all seemed ok. Infact he said that if i hadn't told him my symptons he would have thought there was nothing wrong with me!!!
Anyway, gonna have a mri on neck and head. My tingling is there all the time. Comes and goes in my fingers but there all the time in my feet and right leg. I think I am just getting used to living with it. The doc is a specialist in his field so if he thinks it may be a spinal cord problem in neck then ......................? Who knows? x
