He's working abroad but sent me this photo.
Is it ring worm?

Where is he working? Any chance he's been bitten by insects?

cathcustardtart · 07/03/2016 08:20

No, he's in the mountains. Skiing & cleaning.

Possibly an allergy to cleaning products? I would get a pharmacist to look at it first.

cathcustardtart · 07/03/2016 08:23

Thanks Kelda , that's what he's going to do.

Looking at Dr Google I think it's Ringworm.
He's gone to see the pharmacist

Psoriasis?

cathcustardtart · 07/03/2016 14:31

The pharmacist has sent him to the Dr. Think it'll cost lots of euros.

Could he be a bit run down? I bet he's not getting much sleep, if he's working in the chalets and skiing in every free moment.

cathcustardtart · 07/03/2016 16:30

He's very run down, exhausted and endless colds. Would that make him more susceptible to rashes?
I thought maybe fungal with all all the contact with dirty sheets and towels.

OP posts:
kelda · 07/03/2016 17:46

Yes could make him more susceptible to fungal infections and something like psoriasis, but the doctor needs to see it to diagnose.

jalopy · 07/03/2016 17:52

It looks a bit like discoid eczema. Perhaps the cleaning products are irritating his skin.

cathcustardtart · 08/03/2016 17:52

Thanks for the advice. DS has seen the Dr and its eczema. He's been given hydrocortisone, emollients and tablets to stop the itching (which it doesn't).
Have told him to get the Marigolds outSmile

OP posts:
ShutUpSirius · 08/03/2016 18:12

Beware of the marigolds. If he has eczema his skin will be sensitive and his immune system will be too.

I developed a latex allergy out of nowhere. Nytril gloves Grin
