Hello

So a few days ago I felt a strange sensation down below and upon further investigation found a fleshy lump inside my vagina.
Doctor has told me it's a prolapse of my vagina wall & it's not serious.
She was so flippant about it I just left & didn't ask any questions.

Has this happened to anyone else & if it has Will it go back to normal ever???

Google is not my friend today!!!

Good to hear your updates likeaboss. Try to take it easy but I know what it's like with a toddler!

Hi all have been having a read. I have a prolapse and they said it is a rectolace but I think my uterus is dropping as I get dragging period pain feeling all the time and it is so much worse before my period. The doctor has told me to carry on with my pfe and it may right its self. They refered me to a continence nurse which whilst helpful in some respects I didn't really suffer with leaking tough and she didn't help me prolapse or weak core issues.

Two questions for anyone that may know would a specific women's physio do something different for me and should I push for referral to that? Also would a pessary stop it getting worse by offering more support?

I'm so worried about this getting worse. I have other health problems and a young ds with complex special needs, I wouldn't be in any postition for surgery for the next 10-15 yrs Sad

Hi redcar sorry you find yourself here. I saw a women's health physio. She made sure I was doing my PFEs correctly and gave me some advanced exercises to do. My pelvic floor is apparently pretty strong so I'm not sure how much help it was for me. It was definitely good to get PFEs checked anyway.

Likeaboss don't know if you'll see this but would love to know how you are getting on now? You must be nearly 3 months post surgery now? Hope it has all gone well Smile

I've been having a tough few weeks here. everything is feeling a bit bulgy and I'm finding that going to the loo is becoming more and more of an issue. I'm also suffering quite badly with coccyx pain - no idea if this could be related to my rectocele? I'm currently in the process of changing GP. When that is done I think I'll need to seriously discuss surgery with them. I just want to be able to poo normally again

@Fuzzyduck21

Yes! Me! I've been told I have a mild cystocele and rectocele after birth of ds 5 months ago. Saw consultant and he said it is ' timely reversible' altho don't know if I believe him. Saw gp again and beibg referred for physio. Fingers crossed. Can't get my head around it and feeling very 'why me'.

Wonder if having a full bladder for 5 hrs in labour until I demanded catherisation could have done it? I really don't know. Struggling.

It's tainting these precious moments with my son. Am so low!
