lol, my ds is like this.... he's big for his age anyway but such a dense weight it shocks people to lift him.

dd on the other hand is the opposite, tall for her age but light as a feather.

if i forget which on i'm picking up i either do my back in or fall over backward

I used to be 'solid', but now I am just fat. I like to think that I have done people a favour by stuffing my face so much that I no longer cause them to wonder how I could weigh so much more than people considerably larger than me. Phew! Fetch the choccies!

no idea! makes my head hurt to think of it too.

although as a sidenote i do love the expression 'sturdy little fellow' for him, dense always makes me think stupid!

Muscle tone maybe? Fitness level?

DS2 and DD are almost identical weight. DS2 has CP (can crawl but not walk/stand unaided) and DD does not and is very strong and fit and agile. She feels much lighter than him.. but the scales say not..
