Vitamins & IBS

I have had IBS for years; the only thing that works is a very strict FODMAP diet (which limits what I eat)

So I take supplements - today I found one of my iron tablets passed through undigested

So my taking vitamins plan is flawed......what do I do now?

My brothers doctors would like to talk to me & would also like my blood/stool samples - we are seeing if I can go over there they have 'experimented' on him as he is unusual and they would like to see if I am - but it's complicated as obviously I'm not covered under their health care system

I haven't really thought about IBD as they keep telling me it's not - but some of my other symptoms would fit with that (mouth ulcers) - I have thought about keeping a photo diary for the GP over a 48 hr period - so he sees the texture/amount etc - but then I thought I was fussing & over reacting
