it so bad that it causes an eye twitch?
I don't have a sinus infection, just inflammation. Got horrible eye pain and face pain on one side. Seems to have aggravated a nerve under my eye and it keeps twitching. Have had it constantly for several days. Driving me bonkers. Tried fliconase nasal spray and ibuprofen to try and calm it down, to no avail. Unable to see dr until next week. Anyone else had this?
The twitch is definitely not due to tiredness or anxiety. I had that before too.

Put your fingers on your forehead, just by your eyebrows. You will feel a slight dip. Push gently and this will relieve the pressure. HTH

That should be, by your eyebrows at the outer edge, not the middle.

Or do reflexology on your hands/fingers

Using the thumb and middle finger on one hand squeeze firmly the end of the nail (closest to the hand) - then the middle of the nail - then the end of the nail (working on the opposite hand) - do all 5 fingers then turn the hand you are working on over and do the finger pads

Then swop hands and do the other side

You must do all 10 fingers (top & bottem) and do it 4/5 times during the day

Hope that made sense

Thanks to both of you. Will try that. Any other suggestions will be gratefully received.

jalopy, I learned that from a cranial osteopath. Might be worth consulting one if you get persistent sinus problems.

a really good workout where i sweat buckets always help clear up my sinuses.
hot showers and sauna help too, but you have to be very careful to keep your head warm afterwrds.

I have sinusitis & my eye twitches sometimes - tbh until your post I had never connected the two - now I'm wondering!
I can recommend nearlythree's method, it does help - may try Katymac's reflexology too, though knowing me i'd probably forget to do it often enough!
