I really thought I'd be less scared second time around - it doesn't look that way!
Ds2 - not yet 24hrs old. He's been sick 4 or 5 times already, about a couple of teaspoons each time of creamy white. Scared the hell out of me last night, because he was gagging in his moses basket before I picked him up and he was sick. If I hadn't heard him I'm worried he would have choked on it
Thing is, he hasn't had that many feeds yet (although he did feed well for an hour on and off straight after the birth) and even then I thought they only took in teaspoons of colostrum. He's being sick hours after a feed, so I don't think it's just trapped air bubbles. Am worried that he's losing out on any good stuff he gets down.
He's also very hiccupy if that's relevant. His mouth seems moist and he's done a couple of black tar poos.
Midwife should be popping over at some point today, but dh is going to pick up ds1 later so I'll be on my own for 6 hours, so any mumsnet reassurance/advice I can get is much appreciated.
