Adult circumcision

DH had a circumcision 3 weeks ago due to a problem with his foreskin and, to cut a long story short, he's regretting having it done. It needed to be done and was the only cure for the problem he had (BXO/phimosis) but the skin around the base of the penis is still swollen and there's a ridged 'cuff' around the rear base of the glans where it looks like the skin has been pinched and stitched together, and it's still oozing red liquid, though it's not pure blood. The main problem is he's having great difficulty weeing, in that it goes everywhere. Where it was previously a continuous stream held in a direction by his foreskin it is now a random stream that goes everywhere, and I really mean everywhere. He changes his pants and shorts after every wee as it goes all over the floor and his bottoms. I've suggested using a jug or a portable urinal at home but he's not keen on being resigned to one of those at the tender young age of 41, plus he's really not keen on using one at work. His GP has been sympathetic as he himself had a circumcision a few years ago, and he's just said it takes a while to heal and a while to get used to, but in the meantime DH is weeing everywhere and it's really getting him down as he daren't go anywhere in case he needs the loo and he's desperate to get back to work but daren't use public toilets anywhere because he practically wets himself every time he uses the loo, including when he wees sitting down.

Has anyone else had any experience of this kind of problem and, if so, how long did it take for things to get back to normal? Any suggestions to the problem of weeing gratefully accepted!

He might be better off sitting for a pee. The aim issues will be due to the swelling.

I would recommend revisiting the idea of the urine bottle. They really aren't that bad. Can he consider it a temporary arrangement while he's healing? You can also get 'travel' ones that 'fold' up and down - like this It'd really get me down not being able to go out for longer than I would need the loo when that could solve the issue. Hope he's feeling better very soon.
