Yes, me. Facial. Not diagnosed officially - tried mentioning it to my doctor a few times but she's not really taken me seriously. Underarms a bit too, but mostly my face.
I've tried the various creams and lotions on the hyperhidrosis support website, and there's been a small difference, but not great. I have found that the Sweatstop brand spray worked quite well for underarms, but that wasn't my main problem - I even started putting a bit of the strong version of that on my face, as I was getting desperate, but it's really harsh.
It only affects me seriously in the summer when it's hot/humid (or when I exercise other times of the year, or am in a humid place), which is why I expect the GP doesn't really take it seriously, because I know hyperhidrosis is supposed to be an all the time thing. But the difference for me is that it goes from being fine all year, to being seriously excessive as soon as it's hot - sweat pouring off my face, trying to sing in choir concerts dripping on the music, carrying a little flannel with me to mop up between pieces, being totally unable to exercise in the summer, enough that other people comment on my face, etc. So while it's not exactly the diagnostic conditions of it being a serious problem all year, when it does start, it is much, much worse than the average person's sweaty face.
What I'd like is medication that I could take just on the days that I know it's going to be really hard to deal with, like concerts. I cope on other days, avoid exercise (would be useful for those days, too), but when you're in public and it's so obvious and uncomfortable and restricts activities, it would be nice to have a tablet that would reduce it just for a time. I don't know about taking tablets long term, but just on occasion.
