Best treatment for facial wart?

I have a small wart on my lip, have had it for a while and it's becoming more noticeable, I have been looking at over the counter treatments but there are so many, I want something that's not going to take weeks and weeks to work. Can anyone recommend anything?

Best treatment is to have a doctor freeze it, even if you have to pay (relative did this last week)

Apple cider vinegar , put on a swab /cotton wool ball leave for 20 mins
Do this every day till you see a difference. Saw this on Pinterest

I had several warts on my chin frozen as a child. It hurts, but then it's done. I would have a GP confirm and talk about freezing it.

I would think that because it's on your lip and once you remove the wart there is a chance of scarring you would want to make sure you are confident in the person doing it so it doesn't end up looking worse than the wart.

My FiL went to get a wart on his knee removed and ended up with a huge scar that was way bigger than wart. The GP who did it is a bit of a incompetent man.

I used bee propolis oil from health food shop to get rid of mine. I also went to bed with redmond clay (see link) on my wart. It literally just dropped off after a week.

I have had worts frozen on my fingers before, took 2 treatments but it really hurt, I was hoping there was something else I could try first that isn't as painful.

I had a look at the NHS website, which I'm sure you may have done already.

"Cryotherapy may be recommended if you have a wart on your face. This is because the risk of irritation is lower than when using salicylic acid or duct tape"

I know it hurts. I've had a few of them burnt off. I had a plantar wart at the bottom of my foot and had to have it burnt off, I nearly kicked the doctor right in his face and I cried and cried. It was most unpleasant.

I had a couple taken off by doctors, one by surgeon, the other with freezing by GP. Both on eye lid. Freezing was sore at the time, needed re-doing, but eased to an ache afterwards. The thing dried up and fell off. No scar.

Definitely see your GP before you try OTC stuff.
