I'm thinking of buying some of the above (Fish oil supplements) for the whole family. Has anyone else done this, has it been good? DS1 is 3 & DS2 is 5mths, I saw This Morning the other week and that Dr Chris was raving about it. Your info and advice would be grately appreciated.

it is really meant to be fab stuff i tried it for ds who is ASD as it helps concentration the main ingrediant to help concentration is the omega, but ds having ASD could smell and taste it a mile away!!

they now sell it in stives milk and stives butter ds has no idea its in it and weve seen a improvement with his attention span

Hi.I tried the EYEQ.for a while but noticed ds's behaviour became slightly manic!
Switched to Eskimo Kids as i had heard that the eyeq one can have this effect on some children[ds does not have adhd or anything like that.I gave it to him as he does not eat fish etc..so the change in behaviour was really noticeable]Am very pleased with Eskimo Kids...improved concentration is one of the benefits.I get the Tutti Frutti liquid and he has it on a spoon and can have something after to take the taste away.
HTH.

how strange. I started my ds on Eye Q and has behaviour was awful - when really down hill. As soon as I took him off it and switched brands, he calmed down 100%

its a myth

imo

a load of rubbish

what do you expect it to do exactly?

I agree with Enid. If fish was all it was cracked up to be, wouldn't Iceland be Top Nation?

throckenholt · 22/11/2006 17:25

regardless of the effect on behaviour etc - surely fish oils are still beneficial for circulation and joints?

I am right in thinking those countries that have lots in their diet have low heart disease ?

Yes it is strange isn't it?
