Permanent headache

Every morning I wake up with a thick, heavy headache, I also feel abit dizzy sometimes too. It's been going on for weeks. I do have a history of suffering with frequent bad headaches, but this is really getting me down. I am suffering with anxiety after the loss of my DH, and I started on HRT six months ago due to severe menopausal symptoms. Because I wake up with it every day, I'm beginning to wonder if it could be my pillows. Any thoughts anybody? TIA.

I think they are definitely connected Footie. I'm so stressed and anxious, and grieving for my DH, and this bastard has been harassing me and intimidating me ever since he passed away. It just adds to my anxiety and stress more than I can say. I feel so vulnerable and just wish my DH was here. He wouldn't be doing it then, because he's a pathetic, weak bully. I'm going to see a chiropractor tomorrow morning Footie to see if they can help with my back pain and headaches. I'm really nervous. I've done another day with no painkillers, despite a splitting headache made worse by my neighbour upsetting me. My stomach is churning and I'm really shaky.

I haven't yet Footie. I didn't go anywhere Monday and Tuesday as I felt too ill, and today I've had all this hassle with my neighbour. I may try and call in tomorrow after the chiropractor, if I can walk!

Good luck bluebell. I have not had time to read the whole thread but I ended up on beta blockers to prevent my permanent headache and they have been a godsend. Before that the only thing that worked was Immigran which might be worth trying.
Codeine is a horrible drug and can give you a rip roaring headache IME.

Thank you so much BlisterFace. You've given me much needed inspiration to persevere with coming off the codeine. I will look into imigran. I have got some beta blockers, but I can't take them at the required dose for migraines as I have low blood pressure and it caused me to pass out.
