OK,

what do you do with yours!!!!

In my youth I flushed them with gay abandon, then had kids and didn't have periods foryears, then was single with 2 small kids and placed them in the bin and took them out once a week, when so required,

Situation today:

DP and I been 2gether 4 years

Living 2gether 6 weeks (taking it slowly)

First week together, the kids were at their dads and I was on so I was really aware and empted the bathroom bins all the time.

This time I am on and I am working PT, the kids are at school and life is back to its usual frantic self,

So today I went to work and worried all day that he would clean out the bins (coz hes on shifts and cleans the bathropoms on a Thursday)
abnd think that I am a total minger coz I don't triple wrap and seal my sanitary wear.

Help - he's not home ywt!!!

hehe that's nothing, I have a friend who uses washable sanitary towels and throws them in with the laundry, which her husband does

now that really WOULD kill your air of feminine mystery

Quootiepie · 16/11/2006 21:10

Its part of life... maybe buy some nappy sacks for them? I roll mine up in the next ones wrapper and seal. Then wash hands

Perigrine · 16/11/2006 21:14

I do that too QP, I am being hyper sensitive about this aren't I.

wash them

Starrmum · 16/11/2006 21:46

Buy special disposal bags for sanitary towels - Boots do them as do Sainsbury. They're like nappy sacs (i.e plastic/scented) but smaller.

perigruine... im lucky cause my 'work aspect' with a moon cup is at someone elses domestic house...

apart from that i dont ever empty my moon cup during the day anyway!

octobermum · 16/11/2006 22:30

I wrap mine put in a nappy sack then throw in the main rubbish bag thats put out every day so they don't get forgotten.

I don't understand why it should be a problem for him.

magicfarawaytree · 16/11/2006 23:23

slight disgression - a friend a uni used to drop hers in the small bin in her room in halls. she wouldnt even wrap them up - that was until the cleaner complained.

TheHighwayCod · 16/11/2006 23:24

VoodooBanana · 16/11/2006 23:26

magicfarawaytree · 16/11/2006 23:26

or even fake!!

TheHighwayCod · 16/11/2006 23:27

i can spell
not type

anniebear · 17/11/2006 13:08

I wrap mine into the next ones wrapper then put in a nappy sack and into the bin

That would be fine. I would have no problem saying what they were , they are al wrapped up, he will only see little nappy sacks!!

He must know you have periods!!! lol.

maxwellsmum · 17/11/2006 13:10
