I know nothing's given.
My DDad is having chemo for a very large bladder cancer that has been classified by the consultant as inoperable as it's so large that the operation would be massive.
He's on a trial of chemo and feels that it's shrinking his tumour (he's literally sitting on the tumor so can feel it) and he's starting to have slightly less discomfort.
Family are talking about 'after' in terms of him being better and cured, but I am finding it difficult to be positive as all that echoes in my head is the word 'inoperable'.
I'm just wondering if anyone had any experience of someone they knew being diagnosed with an inoperable tumour, but then having success with chemo.
TIA
