I have a bad cold. A very bad cold. I also have asthma and whenever I get a cold it knocks me off my feet.
I walked to my gran's earlier, which was probably ill advised but it's done now.
I could barely breathe by the time I got there and my lips and hands were numb and tingling.
My gran gave me a bowl of steaming Vicks and a towel, which cleared up my chest enough to get my inhalers into me, I can breathe now, but I am still slightly short of breath, which is normal for me and a cold.
My lips are still numb and it's annoying. Dr Google says if my lips are still numb after an hour I need to call an ambulance. This is an over reaction I feel.
I can breathe okayish now. I don't feel dizzy. My hands are not tingling any more but my lips are still numb. How do I make it stop?
Please don't tell me to go to A and E. We don't have one. We have a minor injuries place. Our A and E is miles away and I don't drive and cannot afford a taxi, so I'd need to wait hours for one of those ambulance car thingies, which is silly.
Last time we needed A and E it took 6 hours for an ambulance to come and get us from the minor injuries place and that was for severe breathing difficulties and chest pain so I could be here waiting until morning, by which time the walk in place will have doctors on site.
