i feel bloody awful. Every time I move I get dizzy and lightheaded, I'm aching all over. My skin feels sore to touch. I'm shivering cold, and my eyesight isn't right. Just had to get a lift home because I couldn't drive. Paracetamol hasn't done anything, any ideas?

Glad you are getting some professional help, my thoughts initially were migraine (there isn't always a head ache and this sounds very much like the symptoms i get, down to the sore skin). Are you running a temperature?

let us know how you get on Flowers

DextersMistress · 04/05/2015 20:01

This might be a silly question, I did a little run on the treadmill last night for the first time in forever ages, could it be related?

Sounds more like shingles. Call and get yourself some help. I know it's a pita Dex but you don't normally winge over nothing.

TheoriginalLEM · 04/05/2015 20:05

most probably not, but mention it to the medics if you feel it is relevant, did you feel ok afterwards?

DextersMistress · 04/05/2015 20:08

Yeah just knackered! Bollocks, shingles? The kids have chicken pox...

If it Is then you mUST get antivirals in the first 72 hours, preferably 24 hours. Get them and take them.

butterflyFairy1 · 05/05/2015 01:06

Any news OP? Hope you're feeling better Flowers

Gralick · 05/05/2015 01:19

It does sound like a virus. The slow-tracking eye thing happens with extreme fatigue, as well as other causes.

Could be any virus but I was thinking shingles, too, having had it. It's a bastard, especially if it gets in your eyes (mine did.) As Feck says, you need to get acyclovir as fast as possible. If you're still alive - joke! - ring 111 now and see a doc first thing.

Hope you feel better soon.
