Deja vu and fainting

Yesterday I had lots of deja vu episodes, (this has happened before). Today the deja vu started up again, and I started to feel really upset about what I was 'seeing', then I blacked out. I came too suddenly and felt id been dreaming. It was really strange and difficult to explain properly. I felt nauseous afrerwards for some time. Ok now, just a bit puzzled by it all.

So I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything like it too?

Final update, I've been diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy. Going to start meds soon.

To be honest, it is a real help to have a diagnosis. My other half has been on epilum twice a day since he was a young adult. He only ever had a very few episodes and like you not the full blown seizures. He would be nauseous and very tired afterwards. Hasn't had an episode for 12yrs + now. Hopefully you will get your life back to normal soon with the right meds. Flowers

My husband has just had exactly the same. Deja vu and one blackout. He's had MRI and EEG and all clear but not the sleep one. The whole non driving is completely awful for us as we live in the Yorkshire Dales and I work opposite direction to him.

Are you on medication now?

I'm just waiting for my prescription , will hopefully get it next week.

I was frustrated with the tests as nothing shows up unless you're having a seizure, so I was lucky in a way that something showed up in the sleep deprived EEG.
Hope your DH can get some answers soon.

It has just happened to me and I nearly fainted. I've never suffered from fits but I have got sickle cell trait and I wonder if that has any thing to do with it.

Basically, I was playing video games and was hungry since I haven't ate anything during the morning. So I stood up and started walkking over to the kitchen. After about 3 steps, I went dizzy and it went black in front of my eyes. I don't remember what happened or if I even passed out but the next thing is remember is me holding onto a table and squating. I was shaking a ton and for some reason felt really scared and anxious. I looked around and felt a really really strong sense of deja vu and for the first few seconds I thought that was a dream. I then walked up got my cereal and went on with my day. Can anyone tell me what on earth happened?
