Basically I'm being asked to volunteer for an activity I'd like DS to do, they are saying unless I can help to run it, he can't be given a place.

Anyway I've got a long term chronic health condition which causes fatigue, amongst other symptoms! How do I word that in the email? I've never really had to use it as an excuse to say no before, but I really don't want them to think I just don't want to help.

I really can't commit to this on a regular basis, I just wanted DS to have something fun to do. I can just about manage to get him there and back, but no more. Please help!

I'd just say that you've got a long term chronic health condition that means unfortunately you would not be able to help at sessions, but hope this won't prevent your son from having a place.

Is there any thing you could do to help in any other way? Eg writing letters, helping with accounts, preparation for weekly meeting etc? You could offer that instead.
