Really worried - loss of agility in fingers

It is probably nothing but this is strange. If you know the brownie guide salute can you do it? I have not made the salute for years but suddenly find that my left hand is very severely compromised in that I cannot seem to bend my little finger down without my ring finger following and cannot make my thumb and little finger get anywhere near each other at all. The right half is slightly better but not fully able to do the maneuvers to make a full salute. This only came out as dd practicing and I tried to do the salute which I had done for 10 or do odd years and found I could no longer do it .
Only other possible symptom of anything is recurrent headaches .
Please can you confirm if you can make the salute with ease so I can see how normal or otherwise it is not to be able to do it when we are older . I'm 47 btw

I don't know about the salute but I do think with these symptoms you should see a Neurologist. Can you get a referral from your GP?

I can't make my little finger go down without the ring finger following on each hand but I can reach my thumb across to hold little finger in place (if that makes sense). I'm 42.

However, if this is bothering you then a check up wouldn't hurt would it.

Is this where you bend your little finger and hold it down with your thumb? I'm 47 and can do it, although the ring finger wants to follow the little finger down but straightens up with the other two. I go to yoga and there are loads of things I can't do there. The arm over shoulder grasping other arm folded up back for example.or arms in prayer position up back. check with Dr though.
