Loose stomach every morning. What can I do?

Not sure what's going on really. Been a few weeks now. Usually only happens around the onset of a period. I eat a balanced diet although very little meat these days. I have seeded bread rather than white. Life not too stressful! No more than usual anyway. I don't want to take medication and in any case I'm breastfeeding so can't take Imodium. Seems to be an ongoing problem now so what can it be? If I can't sort it I'll have to see the doctor I suppose Sad

It's one of my symptoms certainly. Not to say you definitely do of course, just another avenue for you to explore.

Thanks winky I will bear it in mind. Although doctor said loose stomach at period time is normal.

I will ask about coeliac as I will no doubt be having a follow up appt. Actually hoping it's a stomach infection as guessing it would be more easily treatable. I'm at the 'why me' stage. I can cope with sitting on the toilet all morning but the constant pain is really getting me down.

By 'why me' I don't mean I wish someone else was suffering instead of course. Just feeling a bit of self pity. Want to be able to do normal stuff properly again instead of having to lie down at every opportunity.
