I am in a dilemma atm and am not sure what to do.I had a kidney transplant in 1985.It worked really well for 15ish years and I felt fantastic travelled had ds etc and always worked. The drugs back then weren't as advanced but suited me tbh.I then had a 18 months dialysis and had another transplant.Since the new transplant I have been put on the all new high tech drugs from america and I just feel awful all teh time.I would like to go back to the older style drugs but the doctors keep putting me off as they say the new ones are more effective and MAY make my kidney last longer but I am at the stage now where I would rather feel well and have less time iykwim(I feel selfish saying this reading misdees post, sorryxx)Am I within my rights to change back or might they refuse to prescribe for me ATM I am one of only 18 people on this drug and my results on paper look great but I feel awful

I thin kth is is the typt of thing that you might be able to ask an advocate about

you should have something like this available locally

If you put your county or health authority and patient advocacy into google you should get soemthing relevant to your area
