To squeeze or not to squeeze?

Ds has a few large mollescum warts that have white dots on top of them. Squeeze them or not?

I was told not to squeeze. Dd had them from April to dec. DS has them now and I was told by a friend to use tea tree cream on them. Iv only been using it a week, so will persist, however they do seem to be drying up

Well ds has just managed to knock one of them and it's now bleeding

When dd were bleeding which means they are going when they get sore I just put Sudocrem on them.

Squeeze every time. Got rid of my little girls ...bled terribly but then healed and never came back.

And no scars!

Same as daisychain5

I resisted the urge to squeeze my DS' molloscum spots. He had them for 9 months in total and then they all just disappeared within a 24 hour period and left no scars.

Piece the top with a (sterile) pin and gently squeeze making sure you get the white ball out whole. Slap on some sudocreme & a plaster and leave it for a few days and it will go. Worked a treat for my 3 year old but the then 2 year old wouldn't let me near most of his so he suffered with it for over a year and was covered in the bloody things (not sure if it's coincidence but getting chicken pox seemed to get rid of the molluscum)

I was told by a doctor to squeeze. Plus it's waaaay more satisfying.
