How much did you put on after your baby was born, and did you lose it? If so, how?

I weighed 2 stone over my pre-baby weight, still got a stone to go 17wks later. Was full of healthy enthusiasm, but waning now. Need some inspiration!

You are doing fantastic! You have lost half of what you put on in just 17weeks with a newborn! Go Girl!
I put on 2 stone and I have lost 1 stone and ds is 7 months! and I thought I was doing quite well but you put me to shame good on you.
Why don't you give yourself a mini target ie lose 7lbs by christmas.
Keep up the good work! XX

i put on 3 stone second time around. 18 months later i still have 2 to go to get back to my pre pregnant state

after dd1 - the same pretty much - but did not put much on with her - she was a small baby. Then lost about 35lbs before having dd2 - after she was born I weighed 11lbs more than when I fell pregnant with her. Having said that still have weight to shift from even before having babies which I intend to sift post no3.

you have done well to lose that much though - great work.

I think b/feeding has helped. Can only get to the gym once a week with my friend, but we've been flaky lately. I've hung a pair on my old jeans up in my bedroom to inspire me to not order pizzas!

I think I'm a bit heavier than before dd#1 and I was beginning to get back to pre-pg weight when dd#2 began! So it took more than a year to get back to normal. I prefer by bod now. At least people don't tell me how lucky I am to be so slim. It's no better than being told that you're fat.
