Where to go from here?

History of acid in stomach and gullet. Confirmed as acid reflux a few years ago.

I now have a pain under the right rib, sort of a pressure sensation. No gall stones or other issues seen on ultrasound.

It's utterly miserable. I can't eat properly without feeling uncomfortable. There is bloating and a general clogged up stomach.

GP is saying as ultrasound fine maybe it's a stress thing.

Still waiting for my appointment. Just want to get it over with.

I finally got the all clear on my liver last night!!

Still need my stomach issues sorting out but I'm extremely relieved to say the least!

I can't remember the name of the tablet my boyfriend was given but he had acid build up in his stomach due to dress which caused him to lose his appetite, doctors prescribed him a months supply of medication and it took the acid away. Worth asking your doctor about? He should know what tablet.

Omeprazole?

Scan done, waiting for results.

So ct scan was clear but I'm still in pain

Hello Choc, sorry I haven't been about for a bit.
Great news your CT scan was all clear.
Well, I have improved a little bit, I remembered that I used to take sea kelp tablets from the health food shop until I got pregnant but thought it was best to stop them. Anyway, I read on another site in my desperate search for a cure they can help 'aid digestion' so I decided to give them another try. It took a couple of weeks for them to kick in but I have definitely felt some improvement.
I hope you start to feel better soon x

I've to go back for a follow up and more tests. I'm sure they've had an armful of blood by now.

Glad the sea kelp is giving you some relief. Its pretty painful and miserable, isn't it?
