I've recently been having hot flushes, they're not too bad I'm not soaked like some people I've read about but when I'm out and about they're quite distracting. I don't think they're bad enough to go on hrt, but wondered if anyone had any tips on how to deal with them when you're not at home. I'm learning to dress in layers, s there anything else that make might life a bit easier?

You should check the ingredients of both though with your history/background.

I recommend the pillow (two in the fridge and a cold pack also to keep them cold) Stick under your pillow and when you wake up, put one under you. They do heat up though with body heat, hence having two.
I also invested in some moisture wicking PJs - M&S do them - cool comfort.
Mother nature is a shit.

I had hot flushes for 5 years....nothing worked! Even a top ranking gynaecologist couldn't come up with a solution. Finally I was asked to try Hypnotherapy......It worked straight away and has never come back!!
