HELP - DD has headlice - where can I buy Delacet

My dd has again come home from school with headlice, second time this term. I've heard Delacet is good, but don't really want to have to order it online and wait ages for delivery. Does anyone know whether this is avaliable to buy anywhere on the high street.

thanks

I don't know but would also like to know. Have tried everything else there is and the blighters keep coming back!

Delacet really does work. BUT as my children are now teenagers I haven't needed to use it for a while and it now appears to have been discontinued- Can't get it from my chemist or anywhere on net.If anyone has tracked some down I'd really appreciate knowing where.

To my mind, nothing works like a Nitty Gritty comb and cheap conditioner. Just comb every other day for a week when they're infested and once a week ( we do it every Sunday night) thereafter. We've only had one actual infestation in nearly two years since we gave up on the chemist 'remedies'.

Agree with Trafficcone. Or try Hedrin, which is chemical-free and very effective, in conjunction with the Nitty-Gritty comb.

I agree with trafficcone too. Conditioner and a nit comb on a regular basis will keep her nit free.

Condition and comb, condition and comb - works every time.

tea tree oil in your shampoo works too as a preventative!
