who else doesn't generate their own heat? (following on from the 'heating at night' thread)

Because I don't Confused.

I can be bundled up in bed, layered up to the eyeballs and I'm still chilly if the heating isn't on. If I was in bed ages before XP he would get in and wonder why the bed was still icy. Even the DC's have commented on it. My heating has to be on at night or else I feel wretched.

I'm fine when I go out running, even in the winter. But as soon as I'm still I freeze. Why do I not have an internal heater like most people? I'm tipping towards the menopause and every so often wake up roasting, but the rest of the time I freeze. I'm thin, but healthy, never anaemic and thyroid has been checked.

My feet and hands are always cold, and my lips go purple at the drop of a hat. I also have days where I look really, really pale (a lot of them). I've always been like this and I have little red spots all over my arms. They can't get blood either. I used to sleep wearing socks on my hands and cardigans over my pjs but it didn't help that much.

I'm loving the sound of microwavable slippers Grin
