Any positive Cerazette experiences?

Hi, I posted on here a couple of weeks back about some worrying Fanjo symptoms. Eventually my health anxiety got the better of me and I saw a private gynaecologist. Gynaecologist told me I had a polyp and a large cervical ectropion and advised me to go off Microgynon and try Cerazette.

If you search Cerazette you often hear hair raising stories - so does anyone have any positive Cerazette experience? I originally went on the pill as a way of improving my skin, so I'm particularly worried about getting acne.

Great, thanks everyone! Sounds like it's worth me trying it out. Hopefully I won't end up on the pregnancy boards!

Before I had my DD I was on it, it made me depressed and irritable, spotty, and I had migraines on it, and it killed my libido. I was quite casual about taking it properly though and never got pregnant, although did fall pregnant within two weeks of stopping it (could be a positive or a negative really).

Am back on it now after having DD. No migraines, not as spotty as I was before, libido is out of control! I do suffer mood swings but I have had PND and anxiety issues and have been on medication for this so probably nothing to do with the pill. Also not pregnant!

Strange how it differs, not just from person to person but also due to hormonal changes in the same person!

YES

been on Cerazette for nearly 7 years and straight away stopped my periods. A good side effect... also No weigh gain, no moods. it really suits me. From my opinion, whatever you read, about any pill, there are problems, I was previously on Microgynon, but because of my age, they changed me. I was dubious about this because I didnt have problems with that either. Maybe just in our makeup. Hormones etc, that make us react to pills. Worth trying...... I LOVE THIS PILL

I loved it. Only very light bleeds which lasted a day, no PMT or weight gain, skin looked great and cystic acne cleared up. However, I would occasionally forget to take a pill and pregnancy was not part of our plan, so I allowed myself to be talked into nexplanon (allegedly a lower dose of the "same" drug). I've hated it since month 2 and am counting the days till I can have it removed (2 weeks today. Hurrah) and I'll go back on cerazette (and be more organized re taking it...)

This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It’s been the ONLY bc that works for me. I have endometriosis and it lightened my periods so much. I only became sexually active about a year ago, and no scares or problems either. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it changed my life - healthexpress.co.uk/cerazette
